I am a 36 year old white American divorced father of 1 that was looking for
a very serious relationship leading to marriage and a family. I was approached by this person on the American Singles website. The written
communication went on for about 3 months (Late February 2006 until April
2006).
She scammed me out of about 2500 USD. I fell for all the traps. "Help our
meeting" = $450, "I need money to pass US Customs" = $700, "The money was
stolen on the way to the airport" = another $700, "I need $164 extra to
rebook flight" = at the same time as the other $700, "I have money for
flight but only $200 for US Customs" = $500 (was not directly asked for).
She gave me her address as :

BUT money was picked up in Yoshkar Ola and Cheboksary when she was supposedly in Moscow.

1900 USD to pay the fine. Which her "father" came up with. After all this
I asked her to send me copies of her Visa and Passport, which she did and I
