| Yulia (Cheboksarsky, Russia)I am 46 and never married. Yulia gave a birth date that makes
her 27. I received a total of 24 e-mails from Yulia and 11 photos.
The first contact came when she contacted me one epersonals.com. In
it she claimed to be 25. I did not notice the age discrepancy until
I went back looking for information. The correspondence began on
9/30/2005 had a couple of pauses. She finally asked me for money on
1/12/2005. I believed her until I discovered an old friend of mine
did actually marry a Russian woman early this year. I asked him a
number of questions. He immediately doubted her honesty based on how
she contacted me. His wife actually is from Cheboksarsky. His wife
did recognize the location of a couple of the outdoor photos. They
are from a different town near Cheboksarsky. I still did not think
it was a scam until a short time later when the first ???I am in love
with you??? notice came, in mid November. Then I suspected she was
scamming. I continued to write to see if that was correct. That
continued until there was an interruption that began when I was gone
a number of days for Thanksgiving weekend. She did not write for
about 10 days including my announced absence. Then she had a story
about her sick mother, and she could not write. I began to believe
she might be real, and I better pull out to avoid hurting her more
than I already would. She begged me to continue. So, I continued
keeping it friendly and offering no encouragement for some period of
time. When it became clear she will say she can come to see me at my
home, I then did encourage her to get the Visa. Just before
Christmas, she suggested she could get a visa with the help of her
travel agent friend. Then I was sure she??s moving to the scam. I
encouraged her to try. Yes, she claims she can actually get it and
can come to visit me. But today, she asked for money to complete the
paperwork for the visa $496. There are reasons I believed her early
on: She answered most questions, she commented about my photos, the
larger number of photos of the same woman and the long period of
correspondence. Red flags: She gave a salary for her 7 day a week
job and complained about how little it was. No telephone not even at
the restaurant where she works, The ???I love you??? over and over to
someone she never met. I could be reading something into it, but I
think there were at least three different writers, including
improvements in her English. She forgot what country I live in. She
said she would see me in Australia. I live in a small town called
Sidney in USA. I did not give her the town name for a significant
period of time. The scammers seem to be willing to do a lot more
work than I expect. Thanks to my friend, I had plenty of information
about the visa laws and habits of real Russian women to see the
lies. I??ll include a few letters and the photos that show her face
