| Olga Poddubnaya (Tolyatti/Samara, Russia)I am a 52 year old divorced male in the USA. I was first contacted by this scammer on February 3, 2005 through the yahoo personals site. This contact came two days after another contact came on that site with an identical letter except that the name used was Lyudmila instead of Olga, the age given was 29 instead of 30, and the e-mail address was different (INNUSHKIN@mail.ru). The e-mail address used for this scam was Devocki@mail.ru I responded to both contacts using 2 different e-mail addresses and different names, but only this one replied. Scam reports had been given to another blacklist site (uaprofiler) before by others that involved the exact same letters but using different names (Svetlana Isaeva and Inna Konstantinova) and different sets of pictures. This is the typical money for visa and airfare scam. This scam was curious in that city of residence given kept switching between Tolyatti and Samara. One can see on a map that there is about a 100 kilometer travel distance between these two cities. When I pointed this out and asked which city she lived in I got no response at all, nor did I get any responses to other specific questions. The letters were extremely long and repetitive and unlike letters from other scammers mentioned my name repeatedly (or rather the false one I used in my correspondence - Thomas) throughout the letters. This was exactly the same as was done in the other letters in the other scam reports. The money request was for $380 for documents to be sent by Western Union with the implication that more would be needed later for the airfare. What follows are some selected letters and the photos from this scammer.
