I was contacted by this "Anna" through the Yahoo Personals adds. The wording
is the same as on this Web site, as are some of the emails and several photos.
She usually did not answer specific questions and with each email, the photos
became more and more revealing. She would also tell me of dreams she had of
us together in which we would end up in the bedroom and then "engage" etc..
She was very "impatient" that I respond almost on a daily basis, and claimed to
have developed a kind of mystical, sudden Love for me and that we were meant
to be together for life. I became her "prince", "kitten", "eternal love" and so on. I
played along to see what would happen and sure enough she wanted $350 for a
Visa. When I asked for verification of her identity and an air mail letter with proof
of any type of Russian documentation and names of family members and friends
etc., she ignored this request. I stated that this would only confirm our love for
each other. Finally, when I told her out right that I could not send any money
unless I received this information, she accused me of not trusting her or
anybody. After that email, I never heard from her again, nor have I attempted to
contact whoever this person is. It is an obvious con to me. You can see that she
tries to reel you in like a fish on a fishing line, each email and photo attachment
drawing you closer and closer. I came across this site somewhat by accident
doing a people search at Yahoo and after I typed her full name into a web
search. When she did ask for money she was very specific as to the amount,
her full name and what bank to wire it to, Western Union, and that I needed to
email her with a ten digit number so that she could pick it up. She didnt say
